AI training courses for language teachers

Dear Language Teachers,

As part of my doctoral research in the field of German as a Foreign Language / German as a Second Language (DaF/DaZ) at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (JGU), I am investigating how professional development programs need to be designed to enable teachers to effectively and knowledgeably integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into language teaching.

To explore this question, I need your support! I would be very grateful if you could contribute to my research by completing the survey below.

The survey is aimed at language teachers of all languages, both in Germany and abroad. Its goal is to provide a comprehensive overview of your experiences, knowledge, and needs in dealing with AI in language teaching, which will serve as a basis for (further) developing AI training programs for language teachers.

The survey takes approximately 5–7 minutes to complete. Your responses will, of course, be treated confidentially and used exclusively for scientific purposes.

If you have any questions or uncertainties, please do not hesitate to contact me. You can reach me via email at lubaum@students.uni-mainz.de.

Thank you very much, and I hope you enjoy completing the survey!

Best regards,
Luisa Baum
